Our firm enters into a portfolio management agreement that includes an investment policy for each account, specifying the level of risk in relation to the client’s target rate of return. FIS uses the information gathered from the client in the Investment Policy Statement to recommend a specific asset allocation and investment strategy. Implementation of the investment strategy may include an individual stock portfolio, a mutual fund/ETF portfolio, or some combination of both security types. FIS uses fundamental analysis and concepts derived from modern portfolio theory to construct diversified portfolios using a low-cost, passive, asset allocation strategy.
